Dr. Koroma is an Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine physician at Manhattan Orthopaedic Care who is an expert in the complete care of patients including athletes and treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries.
Dr. Koroma grew up in Charlotte, NC. He completed his undergraduate education at Elon University and attended Georgetown University School of Medicine then Howard University College of Medicine for medical school. Dr. Koroma received General Surgery training at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center and Orthopaedic Surgery training at Lenox Hill Hospital. Sports has had a significant influence throughout Dr. Koroma’s life and training. He competed in a number of sports growing up from elementary school through college and medical school. He has been team physician for various high schools in New York City and Westchester county. He continues to enjoy competitive basketball, soccer, tennis and running in his spare time. In fact, he ran the New York City marathon in 2019.
Dr. Koroma’s lifelong passion for sports gives him a greater understanding of his patient’s physical and emotional needs. He is committed to providing exceptional care to every patient, every time and firmly believes in individualized patient-centered care.
